I'm now into the home stretch with LocoMotoArt, as artist in residency with the City of Vancouver and the Vancovuer Park Board's Fieldhouse Studio Program from 2013-2015.

LocoMotoArt is a Vancouver-based group of 20 artists, both local and international, who work with media (generative art, intallation and interactive art, artware, projection mapping, photography, audio art and composition, robotics, video feedback art, etc.) The group was unified in 2012 under LMA Lead Administrator, Laura Lee Coles and evolved out of her arts-based research "Utilizing The Natural Environment for the Exhibition of New Media."

LMA Artists in Residency:

Graham Brown, Beth Carruthers, Merlyn Chipman, Laura Lee Coles, Patrick Daggitt, Jamie Griffiths, Bobbi Kozinuk, Dave Leith, Maryam Mobini, Mark Nazemi, Sebnem Ozpeta, Wynne Palmer, Rob Scharein, Sarah Shamash, Phil Thomson and Miles Thorogood.

LocoMotoArt are fortunate to be able to have the use of two fieldhouses, Aberthau Mansion - West Point Grey Community Centre and the fieldhouse at McBride Park in Vancouver, affording us two locations to spread out and work on projects, host shows and events and provide workshops.

After assisting the other LMA artists through the residency process, as Assistant Administrator and Project Manager for LMA, I will be one of the last artists to complete my projects from Sept. - Dec. 2014. Over the past 1 1/2yrs. I have had the opportunity to curate guest artists, conduct demos and workshops and exhibit in six exhibitions with LMA. I look forward to starting my residency projects this month and will be sharing them through future Blog updates here on my webstie and through LMA Blog.
